What is called thinking ?
"The most thought-provoking thing in our thought-provoking time is that we are still not thinking."
Martin Heidegger. What is Called Thinking?

Is Martin Heidegger all right ? Can "thinking" be anything else ?

A mesure qu’on s’avance dans la vie, on s’aperçoit que le courage le plus rare est celui de penser.
— Anatole France
Of course people don't think, it's obvious. In these times where studies are started only in the goal to get a job (and a specific one at that); where people just do their job and as long as they get their salary, they're fine with not thinking; where people returing home from work turn on the TV and get ready to inhale anything as long as it keeps them from thinking; etc.

First of all welcome on my blog :)
I agree often people just when they arrive at a little social position (salary,....) have one objective : to take less risk as possible, as themselves less questions as possible, but just have their pleasure because then you have money you want to "have for your money".
What is thinking ?
For exemple there are several steps in the history of physics.
Artistole wrote "physics", a treaty of physics sciences wich was the reference in physics science during 2 millennium.
Exactly between Aristotle and Galileo Galilei.
Galileo was following by Sir Isaac Newton and Albert Einstein.
I have read in an article a sentence like : "how naive, credulous, were the people in the middle age because their believe in Physics aristotle theory or now we know what aristotle was wrong because of modern physics."
Or, who has the proof that Aristotle is wrong and our comtemporary, Einstein and Co, are right ?
Aristotle said that our earth is the center of the universe, but is there someone on this earth who can seriously prove the contrary ?

You shouldn't mix philosphy, which is the mother of all sciences, with the actual modern science. The latter uses tools to experiment and prove. I have faith in science, that's why I believe that Earth isn't the center of the universe.
How can you prove that electricity exists? You just plug your wire and all your machines work, so...

The actual modern science is full of philosophical implications, for example in Quantic Physic.
You say : "I believe that Earth isn't the center of the universe."
But can you prove it ?
No, you can't. Your assertion is a pure expression of faith.
